A catch-all feature that is activated for a certain e-mailbox will permit you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not really exist. To put it differently, if you delete an email address and somebody still sends a message to it, or to any miswritten email address under the same domain name, you will receive the email in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial in case you run a company, for instance. Since you may begin receiving unsolicited emails, you can use the catch-all option with anti-spam filters in order to receive only authentic email messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.
Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting
In case you host a domain on our cloud platform and you have a cloud website hosting account, you’ll be able to activate the catch-all feature for any email mailbox that you create under the domain name. The Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel comes with quite a few functions, but it’s stunningly simple to work with, so configuring a catch-all mailbox requires only one mouse click. All the email addresses that you have will be enumerated in this section alphabetically and you will just need to click the "Catch-all" button for the specific address. Our system will alert you if there is already another catch-all mailbox activated for that domain or if the one that you want to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding enabled, so you can either deactivate the latter feature or pick some other mailbox. Deactivating the catch-all option is just as simple and takes one more click on the exact same button.
